What platform do you use?

Zoom or Microsoft Teams, whichever your team already uses. No special software needed.

Is it as good as in-person?

Honestly, yes. The content and hands-on exercises are identical. You lose the tea break chat but gain the comfort of your own setup.

What's the ideal group size?

8-12 people works best online. Large enough for good discussion, small enough for personal attention.

Can different team members join from different locations?

Absolutely, that's one of the main advantages. Your Dublin, Cork, and Galway staff can all join the same session.
